We've been long time users of the Wired Country service and recently upgraded to a 2mb connection. It's been more than ok but has had some reliability issues due to the neighbours pine trees growing up and blocking the line of sight to the transmitter.

With one daughter in Scotland and the other in Wellington as well as Parents in the UK, our phone costs were escalating and the sisters found it difficult (read expensive) to keep in touch.
